For flexibility and convenience, you may choose to share a flat or house with a few fellow students that is close to the university or other public facilities. The cost ranges from $60 to $350 per week, depending on the location, the configuration and quality of the flat/house, your sharing pattern (sharing a room, or occupying a single room, or occupying a house to yourself), and other factors. Some universities or colleges offer demi pair programme, which is designed for students who want to work for and live with an Australian family. It offers students studying full time FREE accommodation and meals in return for 15 hours of work per week.
